If you are trying to get pregnant, I often recommend you start tracking your Basal Body Temperature, or BBT. It is also helpful if you are using natural family planning, or are having irregular menstrual cycles or problems with your periods.
You will need to check your body temperature first thing in the morning, before getting out of bed. I recommend keeeping your thermometer on your nightstand to make it easier to remember. You don’t need to buy a fancy thermometer, any $20 digital drug store version should work. There are plenty of apps that you can use to track this information. Over time, you can look at graphs high can provide a lot of information about your cycle and hormones like estrogen and progesterone.
